I’m on paternity this week. Not much would have pulled me away from the girls.
But I’d committed to St Mary’s World of Work Day with P • A • U • L For Brain Recovery and I’m so glad I did! It was a great opportunity to teach 400 Year 7 students about brain injury and our partnership with the NHS 
I was honoured to be joined by Professor Jonathon Glazzard and Dr Kelly Dockerty from the University of Hull. We promoted our Brain Health Board and ambition for the Big Brain Roadshow – taking our inflatable brain into schools for fun, interactive learning.
Students worked in groups to design engaging sessions based on our Brain Board. They absolutely loved the Big Brain! Their ideas were creative, thoughtful and inspiring. Who better to help shape this than young people themselves?
It was fantastic to see them so curious about the brain and how to look after it Each group presented their ideas to the class with the best going to the final. The winning group will receive an award. Thank you and well done to everyone involved.
